Abstract

Most bibliometrics studies on publications and citations use Thomson Reuters Web of Science data for their analyses. We will introduce our new suite of Web resources concentrating on InCites™ that will greatly impact the efficiency and impact of Research Evaluation and Assessment. InCites facilitates easy analysis of research output at various levels of aggregation and the benchmarking of those results with global averages. We will show Austrian data in this new format to highlight Austrian institutional research.

The depth and breadth of Thomson Reuters Web of Science has now been augmented with the launch of the Century of Social Sciences enabling researchers to search an additional 56 years of the most critical, high impact Social Sciences coverage now spanning 110 years!

BIOSIS life sciences databases deliver current, multidisciplinary information, covering more fields of life sciences research than any other database in the world. Thomson Reuters has now launched the BIOSIS Citation Index exclusively on Web of Knowledge. It combines cited reference searching, citation navigation and all ISI Web of Knowledge platform features with BIOSIS specialized content.
