Erwin at grammer school

Erwin spends a sheltered childhood and receives instruction by private tutors at home until he enters the Imperial Royal Academic Highschool (k.k. Akademisches Gymnasium). In September of 1898, he passes the entrance exam successfully; he remains an outstanding student throughout his school career. On July 11, 1906 he graduates with honors and receives the certificate to attend any university.
